We get together morning and evening by candle light and we enjoy our meals by the warmth of its flame.  During winter, nearly 40 days after Christmas, we celebrate Candlemas: we use the candles that we fabricated to make lovely sculptures in the snow.

The workshop welcomes 10 villagers and co-workers who all appreciate the calm and relaxation brought by the candles’ fabrication process through
« Dipping »: by repeatedly dipping a wick in liquefied wax, in order to accumulate the layers and give the candle its thickness.













Candle making is a creative workshop
that begins with a string and ends up in small masterpieces:
at the end of the workshop, it is possible to see the result of the good work accomplished.

So it is that, 3 days a week, the candle workshop comes together in a special space at Maison Cérès, where you find materials appropriate to the creation of lovely wonders.
